So, what's new pussycat?

Well, gee wizz, have I been gone a long time!!!  The last update was in 2014 and, well, we had become parents.  Foster parents!!! If you would like to read all about that, please go to my old blog, Ramblings from a Girlie Girl, which I can no longer update for some reason.... The blog posts are titled, Our Perfect Blonde Angel and Fostering Little Lady. 

Anyway....

Between the time of the last blog post and today, A LOT has happened... But there is no way I can tell about everything, you would be here all day.  So I will just say that WE ADOPTED our BLONDIE on October 1, 2015!!! This date is special because it is also our wedding anniversary and my late MaMaw's birthday. It just so happen that Margaret (aka Blondie) is named after my late MaMaw.  So, we are a FOREVER family!!!!

We will not worry about why I did not post as we went thru being foster parents, there was just so much that can not be shared.  Instead, we will move forward and hopefully keep this blog a little more updated.  I really enjoyed posting to my old blog and would love to share all kinds of vintage findings, adventures, and whatever else might come up.

Adoption Day and Party Pics

So.... as I am trying to update and start my Blog back up, I am also trying to keep current on my YouTube channel, Ramblingsfromagirliegirl. This post is an "add on" for a video I published in regards to our adoption Day and all the fun pics we would like to share.  Enjoy...

This is one of my favorite photos from the day.  We even have a meme made from it (that I can not find right now).  See the young lady in the background with (what looks to be a sour expression)?  That is Jordan.  She was the only child, grandchild, niece, etc in the family until Maggie and Lucca came along.  She is 20 years old now.  So she was the ONLY Princess for a very long time.  Now she has to share all the attention.  She loves it, she loves the babies, she has no ill feeling AT ALL...but this pic was just too perfect.  We made the meme to say "don't get any ideas, Princess.... I am still Mimi's favorite"

Well....what happened to my old Blog?

I guess it really doesn't matter, but I would love to know....  I am sure it is user error but no matter what I do, I can not post to my old blog, Ramblings from a Girlie Girl.  No matter, I am starting a new one.  Why not?  That one was not active for at least 2 years...so out with the old, in with the new...
